Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in ordinary language, what happens to your information when you visit Vuneru Nopoza. It is written to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and with Romanian Law No. 190/2018 on the implementation of the GDPR.

1. Who operates this website

Vuneru Nopoza is an editorial project based in Bucharest, Romania, publishing informational content about relocating to Romania. You can reach us at [email protected] or by post at Strada Floare de Cais 5, Bucharest, Romania.

2. What information we collect

We collect very little personal data directly. The contact form on this site sends your name, email address and message through your own email application to our inbox, using a standard mailto link. We do not run a server-side database that stores your submission separately from that email. Beyond that, our cookie banner records a preference cookie describing which cookie categories you accepted, described fully in our Cookies Policy.

3. Why we process this information

We process the details you send through the contact form to read and, where appropriate, reply to your general question about our published guides. We do not use this information for any other purpose, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where we process your contact details, we rely on your consent, given by voluntarily filling in and submitting the form. Where cookies require consent under applicable rules, we rely on the choice you make in the cookie banner described in our Cookies Policy.

5. How long we keep information

Emails received through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to answer your question and for a reasonable period afterward for our own record keeping, generally no longer than twenty-four months, unless a longer period is required by law. Cookie preference records expire automatically after 180 days.

6. Who we share information with

We do not share your contact form details with advertising networks or data brokers. Where our website relies on external service providers, such as a hosting provider, those providers may process technical data strictly to keep the website running, under their own data protection obligations.

7. Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to request corrections, to ask for deletion, to object to processing, and to request a copy of your data in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Romania's supervisory authority, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), if you believe your data has been mishandled.

8. How to contact us about privacy

For any question about this policy or your personal data, write to [email protected]. We aim to respond to reasonable requests within a normal working timeframe.
